I continue to teach part-time in school and therefore have the most up-to-date professional knowledge of the National Curriculum. I have taught every subject at primary level. In addition to teaching Key Stage 1 and 2, I spent 5 years teaching English as a foreign language.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Education, in addition to my BA hons degree and PGCE (Qualified Teacher Status).

I offer a choice of one to one tuition and small group tuition, both online, for as many or as few sessions as you require. Due to the pandemic some pupils may have gaps in their learning or need professional assistance with home education, and I aim to help with that. Equally some pupils may wish to have additional one to one tutoring alongside their normal school work.

All lessons are via Zoom, Google meet and Google classroom – all you need is a free Google or Zoom account. I can help set this up for your as part of our no-obligation introduction. I use Smart Notebook and powerpoint to assist in teaching.

I am happy to work with Home Educators and their children. As home educating families often have very individual requirements, I am happy to tailor the curriculum and topics to suit you.

I can set homework if required, and offer regular constructive feedback to both parents and pupils. All tuition takes place online and at times to suit you, so your child stays in the comfort of your home where they are most relaxed and receptive to learning.

Learning is personalised. One to one and small group tuition lets me really get to know how your child learns and how best to interact with them, therefore accelerating their learning.
